Stop your Addictions with hypnotherapy with Chris and Paul of Bournemouth Hypnotherapy Clinic
…in as little as 2 – 3 sessions
We have worked successfully with clients to overcome:
- Eating or not eating,
- In fact anything you do in excess.

Some attempt to cut out their want – their addiction – from their life and focus on not doing it anymore – however they simply end up focusing on NOT having a drink, or a smoke, that next bet, their attention still fixed on their addiction in many ways..
…and you already what happens next!

One of many amazing success stories…This one is from Paul’s other clinic ~ Cambridge Hypnotherapy
“Hi Luke, Thank you very much for your help. A big success! I no longer drink any wine. The ringing in my ear has almost gone, the pain in my left side has gone, I rise early feeling well, with so much energy that sleep is no problem either, as I am naturally tired after my active day. This was easy!” CB – Weston Colville
We understand how it may be hard to get on with your day-to-day jobs when your mind is so consumed by this addiction or habit that you may have, from gambling, drinking alcohol, eating, drugs/medication, and even smoking. Sometimes we don’t recognise how much stress this places on our lives and the effects it can have on our health, relationships and our careers.
That is until it’s too late – we wish we had done something about it!
Some people try to cope by hoping to just cut it out of their life, and focus on not doing it anymore, however they simply end up focusing on NOT having that drink, that next bet etc….

“So how can Hypnotherapy help my addiction?”
We at Bournemouth Hypnotherapy Clinic understand that you REALLY do want to stop this behaviour, but it doesn’t ever seem to work out this way. You seem to constantly be fighting this internal battle yet the only thing you’re battling against is yourself, meaning that if one side wins, ultimately it’s still you that loses!!!!
We have assisted many people to quickly overcome their addictions. Invest 20 minutes of your time in a free initial consultation and contact us to find out how easy it can be to change. It’s free of charge and we’ll even give you our “What Will it Mean” hypnosis CD at no cost.
Having worked with many addictions, we know its not as simple as just saying “Well don’t be addicted, just stop it”, if it was that easy you would have by now. We can work with your unconscious mind (Which runs ALL addictions) to develop alternative choices that will get you what you may get from the addiction, but without the addiction itself.
So what exactly is an addiction?
Simply put, the term addiction is used to describe a recurring compulsion by an individual to engage in some type of specific activity, even despite harmful consequences to their health, mental state or social life.
Many people claim to suffer from an addiction to describe an obsession, compulsion, or excessive physical and even psychological dependence, such as drug addiction, gambling addiction, alcohol addiction, food addiction, eating disorders (such as anorexia or bulimia), smoking and nicotine addiction as well as many others.
In the eyes of medicine, an addiction is a state in which the body relies on a certain substance in order to function, and accordingly develops a physical dependence, as in drug addiction. When the drug or substance is suddenly removed, it will cause withdrawal, a characteristic set of signs and symptoms.
In todays age, the term addiction not only refers to a physical dependance, but also a psychological dependence too. For example, addictions to gambling or computer games have no physical need, but there is psychological dependence that causes this compulsion and need to just do it!
